Holiday Time, ... well busmans holiday. I'm staying with Dr Wrigley in St Araille near Toulouse

Its a sunny 25c here and windy. Already I've notice some interesting things:
  • I came by TGV. The trains work, are on time, no mobiles, are fast and clean and folks pay respect
  • There seems to be very little idle land. Much farming(net exporters of food)
  • Public works seem in fine fettle, yet no one uses them much. Excellent roads, canals with no boats, ideal town centres with no one there. Weird.
  • Very much more relaxed atmosphere even in the city

Robin, check out "The cycle stands add rental value" near the end. Made my blood boil, especially with the picture.

Thanks for the link. Yes they add value by increasing the ability of ALL people to produce wealth.

None of that value has been provided by the landlord.

It looks like if you own a tenancy nearby a cycle stand your rent will rise by 10%

What's daft is that the tenants think they have got something for free!
